At True North Aerial Imaging, safety is our #1 priority. The UAV industry is constantly changing and evolving and the laws of UAV flight are as well. But not to worry, we are on the ball!
Would you let somebody that was unlicensed and uninsured drive your car?
Did you know you can be fined ten’s of thousands of dollars for hiring an unlicensed pilot?
Don’t trust just anyone to fly over your property, trust the professionals.
At TNAI, all of out professional pilots have their pilot certificate for advanced operations from Transport Canada. With this, we are certified to safely fly in confined airspace, at events (with a special flight operations certificate) and up to 5 metres from people.
We are insured with $1,000,000 in UAV liability insurance. So rest assured, your assets are in good hands!

Recent Changes:
As of June 1st, 2019, Transport Canada has implemented a new set of regulations requiring drone pilots operating in urban areas to obtain a Pilot Certificate for Advanced Operations and to have their drone registered with Transport Canada. Additionally, drone operators that are conducting operations near people must have their drone equipment obtain a declaration of safety assurance approved by Transport Canada. TNAI is in compliance with these new regulations.
